Listen,
I think it’s time we had a chat.
Listen, I’ve like what we’ve got started here, but I think it’s time we laid things out.
We’re still a few days away from making this official and I don’t want anyone’s feelings to get hurt here, so let’s get some groundrules laid out at the start…
What you can expect from me here at the Blog Of Impossible Things.
I’m going to write [shocker, I know]. I’ll probably incorporate a fair amount of videos as well. I like talking on camera & it’s easier sometimes than writing, plus it’s all the rage in the blogosphere as of late. What am I gonna talk about? I’m going to talk about my journey training for a triathlon [first on ] but more than that I’m going to be talking about doing the things you never thought were possible. Some of it will be about what I’m learning and hopefully it will be somewhat entertaining [otherwise, you shouldn’t bother reading it]. I’m going to be honest through it all & I’m going to tI’ll try to do this at least 3 times a week. Right now the updates are tentatively scheduled tuesday, thursday & saturday. They may vary, but I’ll try to stick to that schedule. I don’t want to make lots of unnecessary rules and so some weeks you may get more and some weeks less, but I’m gonna shoot for about 3/week. Is that cool? I’m going to stretch myself. I want to DO things that I’ve previously only thought about. All those things I’ve either told myself I can’t do or just never occurred to me that are possible – I want to do those things. I’m confident I’ll be successful in many of my endeavors but I’m in no way disillusioned either. I know along the way there will be some failure. I’m okay with that. I hope you are too. Nobody’s perfect. The key to success is getting back up after a fall. I’m not always going to be perfect, but I will do my best to . Promise.
What I expect from you.
I’d love for you to interact in whatever way you’re comfortable with. If for you that’s commenting, then comment away, if that means emailing me and saying hi, I’d love to hear from you. If that means just stopping by every once in a while to read a post, feel free. If you feel inspired at all to do something you’ve always felt was “impossible”, I’d love to hear what you’re doing. If I can help you along your way in any way, let me know. I’m not expecting everyone [or even anyone] to read this & think it’s for them. Do know that I’m grateful for anyone that does read this blog because the fact that you’re even taking the time to read this means something. So thank you.

Joel, far more than your popular blog posts, these “invisible” posts motivate me the most.
It’s not impossible – I just have to work at it.
