I’ll be recapping what I did to move forward to my goals. [The current one being completing a triathlon]. Some weeks will go great, some will suck, but how do you have a good story without SOMETHING going wrong. The purpose is two-fold.
- I want to be completely open & honest on here & not hold anything back. By checking in every week, I’m not only going to be accountable but also motivated.
- Second, I want this to be a place where people go after their own impossible goals. If you’re comfortable, I’d love for you to show down in the comments, what one of your impossible goals are and what steps you’re taking towards them.
I need something to keep me on track & moving forward & pushing on or else I stagnate.
So, that said, here’s the breakdown from this week. [Heads up, this is one of those suck weeks]
Sunday – Nothing [Lazy. I was “recovering” from my triathlon & drove down to Indy. I could have done something, just didn’t]
Monday – Lifted Weights – 1hour [Drove around & found the Lifetime Fitness nearby us. Not really Tri related, but still good exercise]
Tuesday – Nothing [Had to buy food & got busy with life]
Wednesday – Nothing [I don’t have a good excuse]
Thursday – Ran 4 miles [walked .5 miles of it or so]
Friday – Ran 2 miles [I procrastinated until about 10, then just decided to screw it & go for a jog. – future blog post on this – ]
Saturday – [This is my rest day from working out. – more on this in a future post – ]
What’d you do this week to make one step closer to the impossible?

I don’t want to sound critical (keep in mind that I’ve liked your site for the past three minutes), but…
Actually, nevermind. I was going to say something critical, but I changed my mind. I read quite a few blogs that have inspired me in the past; enough so to bring me to the point of starting my own, and if I had found you about a year ago, I would’ve been one of those people full of praise about how you’re doing something I couldn’t ever think of doing.
But alas and alack, I’m past that point. Sometimes it’s even difficult to get inspired by my favorite blogs now. Ah well.
My point being is I like what you’re up to. The only reason I came here is because I have a friend named Joel, and I was thinking about him when I stumbled on a comment of yours. So here I am.
And here you are, and I hope you stay classy.

Tim-
Thanks for stopping by and being my first commenter.
I appreciate you withholding judgement [I’m not really officially even launching the site until friday].
I still haven’t addresses the site’s main purpose [it’s coming] but essentially I want to push myself to do things I’ve never done before & hopefully connect with others who want to do the same in their own way.
Hopefully you hang around =)
Best.
Joel
