You think you have time. But you don’t.

You think you can get to it later. But you won’t.

You think it’s fine that you’re putting off that decision. It’s not.

Everyone says

“You’ve got time.”

“It’s not too late.”

“Don’t worry about where you are at.”

They’re only half telling you the truth.

You have time. You don’t have unlimited time. And you have less every day.

It’s not too late. But it almost is.

You can feel bad for yourself. Wallow in your own misery. Throw a pity party.

Or you can get serious.

Take inventory of what you’ve got, where you’re at, and what you can do next.

And then you can get to work.
