Life isn’t terrible and in some respects, business Is better than ever – but It. Has. Been. A. Year.
Goals-wise, most things other than the Longest Day Race and business stuff has been nuked. Business has been good, but it’s been the one area of consistency.
For the past few quarters, I’ve been trying to go offline for a retreat to plan out the next few months. It’s hit and miss, but I spent some time in September offline in Colorado earlier this month and it came out well.
There’s been a lot happening above and below board, but the consistent goal through the end is to do one thing – simplify.
So the d the goal through the end of the year is to do one thing – simplify.
So this quarters goals aren’t sexy. They’re pass/fail and they’re habit focused. If I do all of these and we’re not invaded by aliens, I’ll hit 2021 all systems go.
So here goes:
Business Goal
I’m really excited about this. You can get an idea of what’s going on YouTube.
- Launch Secret Product #1
Fitness Goal
Each week, I’m planning out:
- 5 x workouts / week (60 total)
- 3 spins workouts / week (36 total)
- 3 cold plunges / week (36 total)
Content
By the end of the year:
- Publish 12 blog posts (including this one)
- 12 videos on youtube.com/joelrunyon
- 3 videos on youtube.com/impossiblehq
Review Goal
- Go somewhere for a 3 day weekend to plan the escape from 2020
I had more I wanted to list here. There’s an event coming up and a few micro-goals I’m going to work on, but instead of publishing them, I’m going to follow my own advice and keep it simple and focus on the habits.
You have 87 days left in 2020. What are you going to do with them?
