I got an email the other day from Pencils of Promise out of the blue. It was a general quarterly email or so, but at the end – Carly lets know about the schools update:
Furthermore, I wanted to share some thrilling news regarding the enrollment of students at the school projects that you have helped support in the past. We are beyond excited to witness the flourishing of these schools, which has created immense opportunities for both the students and communities.
Latest Student Enrollment
Phon Ham: 117 students
Zomayi ARS: 255 students
Bagome Brotherhood: 702 students
Amedzikope RC Basic: 389 students
Las Palmas: 95 students
Las Doncellas: 255 students
Caserio Pasin, Aldea Pacamache: 114 students
Aldea El Vergel: 97 students
I want to thank you for your ongoing impact, which has made all of this possible!
2,024 total students are now enrolled at the 8 schools we’ve built in 3 countries around the world. To date, we’ve raised over $300,000+ through Impossible.org and helped over 2,000 current students and and nearly 4,000 entrepreneurs around the world.
To be honest – a lot of of this happens in the background and a lot of this happens because of you guys – and I don’t always look at it from a day-to-day perspective, but getting the email out of the blue was pretty encouraging.
Reminder: Do more impossible things. You never know when future you might need it.
