I’ve never waited on a miracle. There ain’t no miracles around here.
I ain’t afraid of the impossible. There ain’t impossible around here.
– Kid Ink, No Miracles
This is for the days you’re sitting around your house, wanting to get up and do the thing you committed to doing, but don’t have the “oomph” you need.
The cure? Drink some coffee, put on some gangsta rap, and handle it.

It’s simple, but that’s all there is to it.
Because getting over your excuses has more to do with your mindset than it does with the actual obstacle, and music is one of the fastest ways to fix your head game.
For me, I have a couple go-to songs that I know, if I play them, will give me an infusion of energy. It’s hard not to get pumped up when I listen to them and run around the house belting out the lyrics.
Do you have a set of songs like that? As soon as you turn it up, they take you from slouching to jumping around your house and shadow boxing your excuses.
If you don’t, you should, and today’s gift is the list of songs I’m currently using to get me that extra boost when I need to run through a wall, take a cold shower, fight a bear or just get the workout done for the day. Here they are…
