You know that thing on your list that’s been there since September?
The one you keep planning on doing when the time is right?
Today is the day.
Today’s the day it gets moved off the list.
Let’s face it.
It’s not that important to you.
If it was, it would have been done in September (or whenever you first put it on the list).
If it was important (or is important), then this is the kick in the butt that you need to get it done.
If you can muster up 15 minutes of willpower, you can either get it DONE or figure out the exact path you need to take to make a plan and figure it out.
If you can’t, then it’s much more likely that you’re just scared. Scared of some random ethereal thing going wrong. Something not being perfect. Maybe just being embarrassed. Whatever.
But if it’s really important to you – none of that should matter.
So here’s the deal:
Today’s the day.
In the next 24 hours you have 2 options:
Do it
OR
Delete it
Either it’s important enough to finish or you need to get rid of it.
Sure, it might be weird to admit that you don’t care about it as much as you’d like to think you do, but then again, maybe it’s just not that important.

Looks like I have some paring to do on my to-do list … thanks!

I’ll try to be honest to say that now that I get to think about it, I haven’t been *that* honest.
Maybe I have only been listening, a lot. Maybe I should just go ahead and do it.
