It’s been a while since I’ve done an update on our app business, but today I’ve got good news.
The little app building gremlins have been hard at work behind the scenes – rebuilding our database, updating stats and adding new features to our suite of apps, but today I’m talking about CST – Cold Shower Therapy.
I’ve been using the app this year to get out side of my head and kicked off this year with 100 straight cold showers + had one of the most productive first 3 months in recent memory.
Unfortunately, one of our providers got a little finicky and we had to move the entire backend to a new platform, but TODAY, after what seems WAY too long, we’re pushing out one of the bigger updates in the last 18 months.
Not only have we rebuilt the entire app to make it more stable, faster and more useful (not to mention future-proof), but we also added a bunch of features including:
- adding previous showers on days you missed
- using apple music’s streaming capability to blast your pump-up song
- the ability to become a patron & support the app
- fixed a lot of streaks that had “broken”, but were still recorded.
And that’s just if you’re running it on an iPhone…
…yes that means what you think it means.
ANDROID IS FINALLY HERE
Cold Shower Therapy on Android
After way too long – Android is here (just like I promised way back when).
There are a few features still in the works (the iOS version already has these), but with the Android version, starting today you can
- create an account
- time yourself
- blast your favorite song
- count your streak and your stats
Like I said, we have more stuff coming, but I didn’t want to make you wait any longer ;).
In the next couple weeks, we plan to bring it feature-complete with the iOS version so no matter what phone you have – you can push your limits and practically eliminate any & all excuses you have for taking cold showers (except for Windows phone users – why are you still using Windows phones?).
You can grab the app at the links below.
Want more on Cold Shower Therapy?
Kill your excuses. Push your limits and do something impossible.
Get after it.
p.s. I’m currently hiring for 2 positions here. If you think you like cold showers, traveling the world, knocking stuff of your impossible list, and want to be a part of a growing company that’s doing just that, check it out.
