Looking at these photos I can’t help but realize how big and majestic our world really is. People talk about how small the world has become. The world hasn’t gotten smaller, in fact when I look at these photos the world has gotten bigger and more exciting. What an incredible roadtrip in images. Thanks for sharing the inspiration.
Thanks Matt. They’re not quite Matt Koenig Photography, but I do what I can. It’s crazy when you sit back and realize how much of the world there really is to see. There isn’t enough time to see everything!

Forgot to tell you about one of the things on my bucket list. It involves tricking out a van and doing the west coast next summer. Work on a weed farm, do some wwoofing, volunteer at some festivals, shower infrequently. Your fantastic photos (especially the one of two fist-pumping shadows) has renewed my will!
You are a hippie :). That sounds awesome though. Gotta make sure it’s a VW van, though if you end up going :).
WHOA! 🙂 Time for me to get doing again. I’m happy, I’m going to be bringing more income in (yay for living more dreams with that money!!). I also got a big lesson this week, someone close (my friend’s husband, same age as me – 41 – died from brain tumors, etc). Time to get to it!! What a great lesson and I adore all your pictures!!
